Delivery instructions would be more useful as an optional saved default for each delivery address, copied into new orders but still editable before checkout. That avoids retyping campus directions while letting customers change them when the drop-off point or driver instructions differ.

Customers should be able to view a reward catalog and redeem points manually, with the chosen reward’s cost deducted from their balance. Any remaining points should carry forward, and reaching a reward threshold shouldn’t trigger an offer or reset the balance automatically. That would support both smaller redemptions and saving for a higher-value item.

Recurring holiday closures should support both fixed dates and holidays that move each year, such as Easter or Thanksgiving. Letting each location choose its country or region would also avoid applying the wrong holiday calendar, with individual years still editable for exceptions.

Item-level lead times should work alongside the normal delivery schedule, so a customer can see the earliest available date for each item before checkout. It’d also help to apply the longer lead time only when that item is in the cart, rather than delaying an order that contains only standard menu items.

Put the tip choice in the payment step, with a clear “Add a tip” prompt and preset amounts plus a custom option. Showing it before the order is submitted makes it harder to miss, while keeping it optional avoids making checkout feel mandatory.
